When the project was commissioned to Index BC the goal was to create a naming and brand that reflects the coolness and appealing approach to the restaraunt and bar business that would appeal to a young and hipcrowd. The corporate identity had to reflect the offer and present the concepts as a cosmopolitan and eternal symbol of the neighborhood.
The logo employs two illustrations a beetle for the bar and a lady bug for the restaurant with a serif font to accentuate the style of architecture where Aurora and Patio Aurora is located. We chose a palette that goes from purple to gold and nature elements as something very present in luxury settings, especially the Mediterranean.
